Applying techniques for distance education is a challenge for any teacher who was first involved in such a process. Through this course one will know the specifics of adult learners and the principles of adult education, will see the dimensions of openness and distance education, will become familiar with the basic techniques of conducting group counseling meeting, and evaluation of a written work, in general.

This MOOC is based on "connectivism" which attaches a social dimension to it (cMOOC).
The social dimension could be characterized by the (a) educational content distribution, (b) creation of a communication network and (c) significant degree of the learner’s autonomy. All three characteristics are typically oriented to Lifelong Learning concerning a learner’s personal and professional level.
