The Lived Experience of Climate Change

Open University of the Netherlands

This postgraduate course with online learning resources and virtual learning communities focussed on the lived experience of climate change. How do individuals and groups experience its local impacts? One can think of extreme weather or biodiversity changes. This course can be used flexibly to complement existing university programmes. After a pilot with 25 students from six universities, the course-materials have been made available as open educational resources in 2012. Background information on the project leading to the course can be found at http://www.leche.open.ac.uk/
