Get to know how Cryptography keeps your information secure on the Internet

Nowadays via the Internet we: watch movies (Netflix,Youtube),  shop (amazon, ebay, Zalando, Marktplaats), buy the tickets for our holidays or flights.

We also use the Internet to communicate with others (email, Skype, WhatsApp) and  even paying is no longer possible without the Internet.

By performing all these activities, we share sensible information, we DO NOT EXPECT that something can go wrong. On the internet, our messages, tickets, money and information in general is given away, it is just bit and bytes sent over a wire and through the air … in between the trillions of other people’s bytes

So, actually anything could go wrong and your information could be seen, listened in on, stolen or modified.

So what is actually done in the Internet to make sure that things don't go wrong?

The answer lies in Cryptography which provides a secure tunnel for your information. To know more about it and how Cryptography keeps the Internet Secure, join our MOOC.
