The course does not assume any prior knowledge of computer security and can be enjoyed by anyone interested in improving the security of their digital life. By the end of the course, you'll be able to
1. Explain the fundamental concepts of computer security
2. Understand how to protect your computer (Cryptography, Malware, how passwords work, how to set up good passwords, how a passwords management program works)
3. Explain basic network security concepts
4. Realize how firewalls work and how to set up these
5. Comprehend how tunneling and intrusions detection work
6. Identify risks you can encounter as a social network user

Course format

The course is organised in 4 independent modules. Each learner can choose what to follow in accordance with his/her own preferences
